Learn something..then share it

Has there even been a time that you thought you knew all you could about a certain person, subject or thing? Then all of sudden you learn something else and is somewhat surprised by that new revelation? I am sure we have all come across it at some point in our lives, but how many times have you surprised yourself?

Have you ever spent time learning and found out something about yourself?

I believe life comes full circle. It repeats itself. Sort of like fashion. In order for growth to take place you have to plant a different seed than the one that has been given to you. Become what you need someone to be for you. Give to those who need direction, spend time with those who just need a little conversation, you'll be amazed at what you learn. That's why I like talking with older people. Especially those who have aged with wisdom. Not everyone does that. There are people who just live and never grow and who think they cannot possibly learn anything else. Considering that we do not use all of our brain, there is always enough space to learn something from anybody. Don't ever think you know everything, there is always someone who knows more than you, and another one who knows more than him. Just share your information. To think that you can get through this life alone is just another crazy thought. We need each other. As a family, as a community, as a race. We all need each other.

One of the reason's I prefer hanging with people who are intelligent is because they have a higher understanding of what experience has taught them, as opposed to what their formal education has. I have spent time talking with people with no formal education, but their intelligence level was higher than those with a PhD. Those people are quite engaging to me. It's one thing to take information from a book and learn it, then repeat it, but it's another thing to have your education make you look at who you are as a person. When you are being taught something and it changes you as a whole, it helps you gain perspective about self. Not only are you being educated, but your intellect is being peaked. Some of us learn just to repeat what they have learned without any real understanding of how it affects them as a whole. Being an expert on common sense is the greatest degree you can have.

I love words, I love reading and hearing profound things. I also enjoy listening to someone who thinks they know-it-all. They are the most animated and entertaining. They are so educated that they don't realize how silly they look going on endlessly about nothing. Amusing enough, it's the people who are are supposedly less educated or intelligent that notices the empty banter. When you have a true hunger for learning, and not just for what you are interested in, it brightens your life. It becomes fulfilling and it makes you want to share. Learn a little about everything. Other cultures, other races, other subjects in general, that's when the brain thrives. It can never be feed enough positive new and interesting things.

The mind is a powerful tool, tuned and untuned by the universe, what you place in thought can come to life. Free your mind. Live truthfully, love unconditionally and give always.

Peace & Love
