Your Reality

I write about real life things and events. I write about things people are embarrassed to talk about.  I don't live in a perfect world nor do I frequent fantasy island.  I am learning that people are ashamed of their opinion and try to assimilate to what is popular. What a life! I believe we create our own misery by trying to fit in with things that have nothing to do with you.

I have always been the one that did things differently and I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone.  There is power in being an individual.  There are gifts that we all have and can bring to the table, but if we are afraid of those who are smarter than us, better looking than us, or more articulate than us, then we stunt our own growth.  There is something to be learned from everyone.  There is power in allowing someone to voice their opinion that may be different than yours.  We are not looking to be understood just respected.  To us, you look the same, sound the same, speak the same, think the same, there is no originality in that.  There is no growth in staying within your comfortable opinion.

I don't fear those who are the same.  I often wonder how does that affect a person psychologically when there is literally no growth.  When you get to the point where you feel there is nothing to be learned from another, you become like a dead weed, blowing in the wind, looking for a tree to root again, but all has been lost.  You will have nothing to turn to but your own shortcomings, in which you will pass on to generation to generation.

Face your fears, do what feels uncomfortable and watch how magical life can be.

Peace & Love
